You can explore our full instrumentation tubing range online, and if you would like tailored guidance for a specific project, our specialists are always happy to help through our contact page. We hold physical stock at our Tholen facility in the Netherlands for immediate dispatch, alongside the ability to meet bulk requirements on relatively short production times.

What we supply as an instrumentation tube supplier
Our instrumentation tubes are designed to suit demanding oil and gas, downhole and process control environments where accuracy and durability matter. We supply seamless and welded stainless steel tubing in both straight lengths and coils, so you can specify exactly what your installation needs.
Every tube is made to work seamlessly with standard compression fittings, including the HY-LOK compression fittings range, giving you confidence in leak-tight, dependable connections. Whether you require thin wall stainless tubing for compact assemblies, coiled stainless steel tubing for continuous runs, or heavier wall sections for higher-pressure duties, we can match the right product to your specification.
Our stock and supply capability covers:
- Stainless steel seamless and welded tubes, straight and coiled
- Nickel alloy seamless tubes in fixed lengths and coils
- Jacketed and downhole tubes for harsh environments
- Precision tubing to imperial and metric sizing
This breadth means we can act as a single, reliable stainless steel tubing supplier for projects that combine several tube types and grades.
Materials and specifications
We understand that the correct material grade is fundamental to performance. Our instrumentation tubing is available in widely specified stainless grades such as 304, 304L, 316 stainless steel tubing and 316L, including low-sulphur 316L-S2 for improved orbital welding. We also supply common European grades including EN 1.4301, EN 1.4307, EN 1.4404, EN 1.4541, EN 1.4571 and EN 1.4462.
For more aggressive service conditions, our corrosion resistant alloy tubing includes nickel alloys such as N04400, N08825, N06600 and N06625, along with 904L. These special alloys are ideal where higher resistance to chlorides, sour service or elevated temperatures is required.
Our tubes are manufactured and supplied to internationally recognised standards, giving you the assurance of consistent, verifiable quality:
- ASTM A213 and ASTM A269, with ASME SA213 and SA269 equivalents
- EN 10216-5 and EN 10217-7
- NACE MR0175 and ISO 15156 for sour service
- NACE MR0103 and ISO 17495
A bright annealed finish is standard, with optional OD mechanical polishing to 240 or 320 grit for straight tubing. Typical outside diameters range from 1/16 inch (1.59mm) up to 2 inches (50.80mm), with wall thicknesses from 0.01 inch (0.25mm) to 0.120 inch (3.05mm). If your project calls for special dimensions, simply ask and we will advise on availability.
Quality assurance and testing you can trust
Quality is not an afterthought for us, it is built into every stage of production. As a manufacturer and distributor, we support each order with material and mill certificates in accordance with EN 10204 3.1, and we guarantee 100% traceability on all manufactured goods. That means you always know exactly what you are installing and where it came from.
Every instrumentation tube undergoes rigorous inspection before it reaches you. Our standard testing includes:
- 100% eddy current testing to ASTM A1016, A1016M and E426
- 100% hydrostatic testing at 1000psi (7MPa)
- 100% visual and surface inspection
- Intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM A262 Practice E
For nickel alloy tubes, we add 100% positive material identification (PMI) testing and eddy current testing to ASTM B829, so material integrity is confirmed rather than assumed.
Behind this sits our in-house R&D centre, which gives us genuine control over quality and innovation. Its capabilities span visual and dimensional checks, mechanical testing, chemical analysis, weld decay assessment, penetrant testing, boroscope examination, ferrite content measurement, cleanliness testing, and both destructive and non-destructive testing. You can read more about our approach on our dedicated quality and certifications page.
Certifications and approvals
Our commitment to global standards is reflected in a broad set of accreditations and approvals. HYG holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, alongside ASME BPE and 3-A sanitary standards for high-purity and hygienic applications. For pressure and regional compliance, we also hold PED Directive approval, AD2000 Merkblatt W0 and W2, PER 2016 (UKCA) and IATF 16949 for automotive quality management.
For marine and offshore projects, our products are supported by approvals from DNV, Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas and ABS, and we hold authorised exporter status for both seamless and welded tubes. Together, these credentials give buyers a clear, verifiable picture of the standards we work to every day.
Industries we serve
Our precision tubing solutions are trusted across a wide range of sectors, each with its own exacting requirements:
