Semiconductor and microelectronics processes leave no room for contamination, and the tubing that carries your process gases must meet that standard without compromise. At HYG Benelux, we manufacture and supply ultra-high purity stainless steel tubes engineered for the most demanding fabrication environments. You can explore our full ultra-high purity product range online, and if you would like tailored guidance for a specific application, our specialists are ready to help through our contact page. Every tube arrives with full material certification and complete traceability, so you always know exactly what is entering your clean room.

What we manufacture for semiconductor applications
As a semiconductor tubing manufacturer, we produce a comprehensive range of ultra-high purity (UHP) products designed for critical process gas delivery. Our UHP seamless and welded tubes support semiconductor and microelectronics applications where even microscopic particles or residues can affect yield.
Our range covers several product families to suit different process needs:
- UHP seamless and welded stainless steel tubes and fittings
- UHP coaxial tubing for special gas handling applications
- ASME BPE tubing for high-purity and pharmaceutical duties
- 3A and KS tubing for hygienic and food and beverage applications
This breadth means we can act as a single, dependable source of high purity tubing across a project, whether you need standard process lines or more specialised coaxial assemblies.
UHP coaxial tubing for gas handling
For special gas handling, our UHP coaxial tubing pairs a 316/L seamless inner process tube with a 304 welded outer containment tube, with optional seamless outer materials available. The inner process tube carries an electropolished finish, while the outer containment tube can be helium leak tested where added assurance is required. This construction gives an extra layer of safety for hazardous or toxic gas lines common in semiconductor fabrication.
Materials and surface finish
The right material and internal finish are fundamental to purity performance. Our semiconductor grade stainless steel tubing is typically supplied in 316/L single melt, with 316/L double melt available as an option, alongside EN 1.4404. These 316L stainless steel tubing grades offer the corrosion resistance and cleanliness that microelectronics processes demand.
Surface finish is where UHP tubing earns its reputation, and we offer several options to match your specification:
- EP (electropolished): ID 0.25μm max, with OD mechanically polished to 0.80μm
- BA (bright annealed): ID 0.38μm max, with OD mechanically polished to 0.80μm
- BA.AC (anodic cleaned): ID 0.38μm max, with OD mechanically polished to 0.80μm
Electropolished tubing delivers the smoothest, most inert internal surface, which reduces particle entrapment and supports the highest levels of gas purity. Our tubes are available in imperial sizes from OD .125 inch to 6 inch, and in A sizes from 15A to 600A, so you can match existing systems precisely.
For applicable standards, our UHP tubes are manufactured and supplied to recognised specifications including ASTM A249, ASTM A269, ASTM A632, ASME SA249 and SA269, along with ASTM A213, ASME SA213 and JIS G3459. This gives you a clear, verifiable basis for material and dimensional conformance.
Cleaning and packaging standards
In semiconductor supply, how a tube is cleaned and packaged matters as much as how it is made. A perfectly manufactured tube can still fail in service if contamination is introduced before installation, so our process is designed to protect purity at every stage.
Each UHP tube is precision cleaned using a warm, ultra pure supersonic immersion process with dedicated inner cleaning. It is then purged with heated and filtered nitrogen at a gas purity of 99.9998%, before being cleaned, purged and packaged in a clean room to Class 100. To preserve that condition in transit, tubes are individually end-capped, double PE sleeved and supplied in wooden box packaging.
This controlled approach means the tubing you unpack is in the same clean condition it left our facility, ready for orbital welding into your process lines with confidence.
Quality assurance and testing you can trust
Quality is built into every stage of production rather than checked at the end. As a manufacturer and distributor, we support each order with material and mill certificates in accordance with EN 10204 3.1, and we guarantee 100% traceability on all manufactured goods. That documentation gives your quality team a complete, auditable record.
Our UHP tubes are particle and oil residue tested as standard, with intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM A262 Practice E available as an option, and helium leak testing available for coaxial containment tubes. Behind this sits our in-house R&D centre, which gives us genuine control over both quality and innovation. Its capabilities include visual and dimensional inspection, mechanical testing, chemical analysis, positive material identification, penetrant testing, weld decay assessment, boroscope examination, ferrite content measurement, cleanliness testing, and both destructive and non-destructive testing. You can read more about our approach on our quality and certifications page.
Certifications and approvals
Our commitment to global standards is reflected in a broad set of accreditations. HYG holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, alongside ASME BPE and 3-A sanitary standards for high-purity and hygienic applications. For pressure and regional compliance, we also hold PED Directive approval, AD2000 Merkblatt W0 and W2, PER 2016 (UKCA) and IATF 16949 for automotive quality management.
For marine and offshore projects, our products are supported by approvals from DNV, Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas and ABS. Together, these credentials give buyers a clear, verifiable picture of the standards we work to every day.
Supply capability and support
Speed matters when a line is waiting on components. We focus on quick availability and tailored solutions, so you receive the right tubing for your process without unnecessary delay. Our state-of-the-art production facility in Ulsan is fully integrated with our in-house R&D centre, combining advanced manufacturing with continuous development.
Whether you need standard UHP process tubing or a specialised coaxial configuration, we work closely with you to define the correct grade, finish and dimensions for your application. For a broader view of everything we offer, visit our homepage.
